The Ed Brown Special Forces SR Gen4 is a full-size 1911-style semi-automatic pistol chambered in .45 ACP. It combines a single-action trigger system with a 5-inch threaded barrel, black finish, black polymer grip, ambidextrous manual safety, and grip safety. Night sights support fast target acquisition, while the red-dot-ready configuration allows the pistol to be set up with a compatible optic. Its 7+1 capacity provides the traditional handling and reserve ammunition expected from a full-size .45 ACP 1911.
