I disassembled the...
I disassembled the weapon per the instructions and lubed all parts, including magazines. I had purchased a third magazine (extended finger tip). The instructions stated the gun was designed for ball type ammo. I tried Winchester PDX1 Defender bonded jacketed hollow point in each magazine and the second round caused the first to jam in the magazine (bullet seems more rounded as apposed to pointed) and no other round could be loaded. Tapped the magazine top on the carpeted floor and the 2nd round (on top of 1st) came out. I then had to tap it again to cause the spring to push the 1st round up out of jam (bullet head too fat) and out of all three mags. I then tried a more pointed round (Hornady) and was able to load all three mags. I then tried to chamber a round from the flush mag and it did not go into the chamber, but seemed to strike the top of chamber, jamming the round pointed up. I will get some totally round ball (solid, not hollow point) and try again. Seems the manufacturer was totally correct that hollow point will not work (so far). Have yet to fire it and will write again after doing so. have to give it a low rating until I try the ball ammo and if able to fire it. Weapon seems good quality for money paid.
