The FN 545 MRD is a full-size .45 ACP pistol designed for dependable control, accuracy, and high-capacity performance. Its striker-fired operating system uses a precision-tuned trigger with an approximately 6-pound break, while the enhanced polymer grip frame and interchangeable backstraps help tailor fit and reduce felt recoil. The 4.1-inch cold hammer-forged barrel features a polished feed ramp, polished chamber, and target crown for reliable feeding and consistent accuracy. The optics-cut slide accepts the included Holosun 407C red dot sight without gunsmithing, and the driftable steel sights are designed to co-witness with most compatible MRD optics. Fully ambidextrous slide stop and magazine controls, front and rear cocking serrations, a loaded chamber indicator, and a MIL-STD-1913 accessory rail complete the practical duty and defensive configuration.

So, I did a lot of...
So, I did a lot of research before purchasing this 545 mrd. I wanted a high cap 45acp that was reliable and somewhat compact for a HD gun. received my 545 mrd with holosun 407c and it is a beautiful gun. However...only 1 mag would hold a true 15 mags. The other mag you can barely get 15, with some serious effort. Went to rack gun and it won't even cycle back over the round to go into battery. The mag was that tight. Trigger, horrible. Like really bad. Super gritty and the trigger sits very far forward, so beware if you have small hands.
