The FN FNP-45 USG is a full-size .45 ACP semi-automatic pistol built around a durable polymer frame and stainless steel slide. Its hammer-forged barrel is designed for long service life and consistent accuracy, while the double-action and single-action system provides a smooth first pull followed by lighter single-action operation. An ambidextrous frame-mounted manual safety and decocker support intuitive handling from either side. The pistol also features an underframe accessory rail for compatible lights and lasers, an ergonomic grip, fixed 3-dot sights, and a 10+1 capacity. This package includes three magazines and a lockable hard case.

This is a well...
This is a well balanced firearm. I have found that many light weight polymer handguns do not have the weight to prevent wild second round shots. I preferr steel pistols. I have a CZ97B and an FNP9. The accuracy and balance of the FNP9 convinced me to try the .45. This FN compares very favorably with the accuracy of the CZ (the most accurate .45 I have ever fired) and is very controllable through second and third rounds during rapid shooting. It's a big pistol. Bigger than the CZ but no where near as heavy and can be carried concealed if you don't mind a lump. I tried carrying the CZ and it was just too much. And it doesn't look like a plastic appliance. It's hard to find a holster big enough for it but I did find an Uncle Mike's Sidekick size 16 that's pretty snug but fits very well.
