The FN FNS-40L Longslide is a striker-fired .40 S&W pistol built around a five-inch cold hammer-forged stainless steel barrel and an extended slide for a longer sight radius. Its double-action operation, integrated safety features, fixed 3-dot sights, and 14+1 capacity make it a practical choice for range use and duty applications. The polymer frame includes replaceable steel slide rails, two interchangeable backstraps, lanyard eyelets, and a MIL-STD 1913 accessory rail. Fully ambidextrous slide stop levers and magazine release controls support comfortable operation from either hand.

I purchased this new...
I purchased this new handgun after my previous one was stolen from my truck. I am an outside of the box guy and do not believe this manufacturer gets the credit it deserves. This is a super high quality weapon that fits most peoples needs right out of the box. Smooth shooting, well-balanced and fairly priced!
