Product Overview
The FN FNX-45 is a full-size .45 ACP semi-automatic pistol built around a hammer-fired double-action/single-action operating system. Its stainless steel slide and cold hammer-forged stainless steel barrel provide durable service performance, while the polymer frame uses interchangeable backstraps to help tailor the grip to the shooter. Fully ambidextrous controls include the manual safety and decocking levers, slide stop, and magazine release. Fixed 3-dot night sights support aiming in low-light conditions, and the MIL-STD 1913 accessory rail accepts compatible lights and lasers. Two 15-round magazines are included.

Too big, too unwieldy, with a grip that flexes and a safety that just kind of flops on and off without and affirmative "click." Definitely not worth the money. There are much better options.

Don't do to many...
Don't do to many reviews, but thought I'd chime in on this one. Bud's delivered as usual, rock solid service. The pistol itself was great, too! As soon as I got to my FFL, I inspected it, completed the transfer paperwork and took it to the range to break it in immediately. Quick field strip and lube, then fired 350 rounds. From the cheapest factory target ammo, to the finest stuff from Underwood, Buffalo Bore and Double Tap, no malfunctions whatsoever. The factory night sights were dead on, no adjustment will be necessary. Hit everything I aimed at and produced .25 to 3 inch groups through out my entire course of fire. DA/SA was interesting. DA was to be expected, SA was a complete shocker! Scared the heck out of me on the first and second shot I took! Was expecting at least a 4 to 5lb SA trigger pull, but got something far less. My buddy even freaked out because the SA pull on his measures just over 4lbs. Thought I was dreaming, pinched myself to make sure I wasn't. Once I got used to the SA trigger pull on mine, double and triple tap drills were some of the most entertaining I've had in years. That SA pull on mine is something else, let me tell you men. All 3 magazines loaded 15 rounds easily and fed properly. Prior to ordering, I already knew I liked the ergonomics from handling my friends, and I have small hands. The only thing, I say the only thing, I am changing is the back strap. The gun that came in for me was new and manufactured in 2014. It only came with the two aggressive back straps. Me oh my, let me tell you, that thing really digs into your hand. My buddy even remember how bad his was before he replaced his with a smooth one. Courtesy of FN, they are mailing me out two of the smooth ones free of charge. Overall, highly pleased with the firearm and its performance.
