The FN FNX-45 USG is a full-size .45 ACP semi-automatic pistol built for reliable service use. Its double-action/single-action operating system combines a ring-style external hammer with ambidextrous manual safety and decocking levers, giving the user flexible carry and handling options. The rugged polymer frame incorporates steel slide rails and a MIL-STD 1913 accessory rail, while the stainless steel slide features front and rear cocking serrations, an external extractor, and a loaded chamber indicator. A hammer-forged stainless steel barrel with a polished chamber and feed ramp supports dependable feeding, and fixed three-dot combat sights provide a familiar aiming system. The pistol accepts 15-round magazines for a 15+1 capacity.
