I have had multiple...
I have had multiple 1911 design pistols but never an officer model before. I will say that EAA makes a quality pistol that shoots as well as the person holding it, the sights are easy to pick out and center, the weight of the pistol makes holding on target for a follow-up shot a breeze. So far I have had the pistol for about 3 1/2 years and have probably 2000 rounds through this little guy and have had no issues with anything ammo-wise except for some lower cost hollow points that tend to give a FTF (note:the same ammo hangs in every /45 I own). I absolutely cannot say enough good things about this pistol or Buds Gun Shop, shipping is always quick and every time I have needed to speak with customer service they have been responsive and helpful.

I love this gun. Bud's...
I love this gun. Bud's had this in my hands quickly. Out of the box it performed great. Accurate with less recoil than I expected. I put Hogue grips on it (nothing wrong with original grips). No hang ups or jams at the range. Solid and well made. I recommend this lil' 1911 and recommend Bud's. Always smooth service.
