I was looking for a pistol to use as a concealed/carry and found that most "compacts" did not feel or shoot well with my larger hands. The Glock 19 felt great and was the perfect choice for me. This model had the AmeriGlo sights as a bonus. The front sight is bright orange and the rear is light green, which makes the front pop dramatically for easy target acquisition. A bit dim at night but I prefer that myself. The Gen 5 is slightly rounded on the front slide and lower receiver, which makes holstering very smooth. The IWB holster I have makes initial contact with the grip a bit loose, while drawing, until it starts to clear and you can get your hand more firmly on the gun. With the aggressive grip pattern, I have no concerns of mishap or slippage . It also comes with 4 back straps to customize the grip to your size. The trigger guard is large enough to easily fit lightly insulated shooting gloves. I am not a fan boy for glocks but I got exactly what I wanted with this purchase. The only cons of this model is that it is a bit awkward to disassemble and the recoil spring assembly seems flimsy. The take down is mostly an operator issue and I'll just have to get used to it but I don't like having to dry fire any gun and it can't be in the cocked position to take apart. The part of the recoil spring assembly that makes contact with the rear of the barrel is very thin and without putting more rounds down range Ill leave it at that.. I have purchased several firearms from Buds and have had nothing but good experiences each time. Caught the recommendation from Hickok45 and have not regretted checking out the site. The customer service was very helpful and knowledgeable the handful of times I've contacted them. I will continue to purchase from this company into the foreseeable future.
