As usual, Glock makes...
As usual, Glock makes a great gun. This particular model has the NIB-X finish by WMD. Be aware that this is not a Glock factory finish. Anyone familiar with guns knows that Glock is as solid as they come. This 22 is no exception. I've put 200 rounds through it and it's been dead on every time. Not so much as a hint of trouble. The finish is cool since you can wipe it down with a cloth and get any smudges off right away. I wanted something different than the black finish that the vast majority of Glocks. have. The NIB-X finish looks great and it is easy to clean. Haven't had it long enough to know how well the finish holds up. The only downside to my 22 is that I got one with a squeaky slide and the slide release is too tight. Squeaky slides are fairly common on Glocks and mine has gotten better after the 2 range sessions and cleanings that followed. I'm not sure why the slide release is being difficult. Every other Glock that I've handled releases with ease. With mine I have to pull the slide back while pressing down the release button after emptying a mag. Don't know if it's the finish or just bad luck. Still not enough to give this gun anything less than 5 stars. Solid gun with a cool finish on the slide. Get them while you can.
