The Glock 23 Gen4 is a compact .40 S&W semi-automatic pistol designed for dependable service, concealed carry, and general defensive use. Its compact dimensions balance shootability with convenient carry, while the 13+1 capacity provides substantial on-board ammunition. The polymer frame incorporates Glock’s Gen4 rough-texture finish and Modular Backstrap System, allowing the grip to be adapted to different hand sizes. A reversible magazine catch supports left- or right-handed operation, and the integral accessory rail accepts compatible lights and other accessories. The dual recoil spring assembly helps reduce wear and extend service life. Factory standard models do not include an optic-ready slide or threaded barrel.

Bought one of these. I have around 500 rounds through it right now and can see the coating has come off completely on one spot on the barrel and one spot on the slide. I like glocks, but not impressed with this NIB-X coating in the least. I bought it because I thought it looked cool, but should have just stuck with a regular old G23.. Live and learn.
