Not a bad little...
Not a bad little pistol except for two things. 1) Putting it back together after cleaning can be challenging. It looks like it would be simple, but there will likely be swearing involved. 2) The magazine release button is STIFF. I mean two fingers needed to push it stiff. I was hoping my wife would like this as it is not a micro 380, thus easier to shoot. It has great capacity and 380 is light recoiling with this size pistol. But she cannot release the magazine no matter how hard she tries. One the up side, had zero malfunctions with it using many different types of ammo. Ultimately ended up selling it.

Outstanding gun, well...
Outstanding gun, well made with great accuracy. On heavy side but feels good in my hand and low felt recoil. Never a misfire in thousands of rounds.

Wow, what a nice gun...
Wow, what a nice gun this is. I am a past competition shooter in the 90's. I know firearms, and how to use them. My thinking now, was to buy a 380 that looks like a 9mil, really. Also my wife could not rack the slide on my old CZ, 9mil, so I was also looking for a new weapon that had a easer slide for my wife. I chose this Grand Power GPCP380 because with the added few ounces in weight, adding to less recoil, and the 12 + 1 clip, of which it comes with 2, made this pistol a winner. When the pistol arrived at my local dealer, I was ready to send it back if it did not live up to my expectations. It not only lived up to all my expectations, it was better than I had hoped. This is a beautiful gun. All the lines of the gun are smooth and bevelled, and fits mine, and my wife's hands perfectly. First thing I did was to clean this beauty. Nothing different here. Straight forward, and very easy. Re-assembly was a bit of a challenge, until I practiced with it for about 5 minutes, and that's when I had my 1st wow moment. Just get the angle right on the re-assembly, while pushing up on the slide release from below, and it just slips into place, and the movement is like metallic butter. Now, it's ready for the range. Now, as I mentioned, I was a competition shooter in years past, and in world competitions, but not with a pistol, but a rifle. Give me a rifle, and I am a true marksman. Pistols are a totally different breed. At the range, I loaded up, checked everything, and put the target out to 15'. Out of 12 shots, one clip, my group was within 2". The second clip was slightly better. Moving the target out to 25', I had 1 bull's eye, and 4 more within the circles. The other shots were not so good. I have to work on my trigger pull, rather that the aim. Conclusion: I love this gun. My wife even said she liked it, and coming from a Brit, that's something. I highly recommend the Grand Power 380, and am sure the 9mm are the same quality. I was also told from the importer, Eagle arms, or something like that, the pistol has a lifetime warranty. Next time I purchase a pistol, I will seriously look at their Grand Power P-100 in 9 mil. I do love these guns, and do highly recommend them.
