The Great Lakes Firearms GLFA 1911 is a full-size .45 ACP semi-automatic pistol built on a steel frame with a two-tone finish. Its five-inch barrel, fiber optic sights, adjustable trigger, and skeletonized hammer support accurate and responsive shooting. An ambidextrous manual safety and beavertail grip safety provide traditional 1911 controls, while the Picatinny frame rail accommodates compatible accessories. The slide is cut for an RMSC-footprint optic, allowing a suitable micro red dot to be mounted directly to the pistol.
