The Great Lakes Firearms GLFA 1911 is a full-size semi-automatic pistol chambered in .45 ACP. Its traditional 1911 design combines a steel frame and slide with a five-inch barrel, an 8+1 capacity, and a Two-Tone finish. Fiber optic sights provide a bright aiming reference, while the ambidextrous manual safety and grip safety support familiar 1911 handling for right- and left-handed users. The standard barrel is not threaded and the pistol is not configured for direct optic mounting.

I really like the way...
I really like the way the pistol G eel and looks. I haven't shot it yet because I am waiting on a Vortex red dot to come in. I haven't been able to locate an adaptor plate for it. Called GLFA and they said the slide is designed around the Votex Venom micro dot with RMSc base.
