A: they are different guns 745001 is a full size 4.5 inch service size gun (10+ 1 capacity) the 74531-a5 is a USP45 small frame compact size gun with a 3,8 inch barrel (8+1)

A: Frank, the pistol above is a full size pistol with a longer magazine well which holds 2 more rounds. The 74531 is a compact and which has a 2 round less capacity. The compact can take the higher capacity magazine.

A: Joel, the HK45 isn't on the CA roster of handguns so it can't be transferred into the state by non-LEO citizens i.e. Buds' cannot ship it to California. A: Richard, yes Sir. The HK45 has ambidextrous controls, enabling the control lever to be switched from the left to the right side of the pistol (additional parts required); for true ambidextrous use, a control lever can be mounted on each side of the pistol.
