A: This has an HKU serial number prefix denoting that it was made in USA. There should be zero quality difference from the German guns.

A: Andrew, Lately in my LGS, I've seen the HK 45 and HK 45 Compact being marked as Made in Germany along with the appropriate proof markings. The HK 45 Tactical and Compact Tactical appear to be marked as USA made. A: Robert,you can't knock them loose, knock them out of alignment, snag your clothes on them or damage them. They also many times offer a better sight picture. In the H&K's case, it reduces the size of the top strap, making the gun a bit sleeker.
