The Heckler & Koch USP Compact Variant 1 combines the proven USP operating system with a compact polymer frame designed for comfortable handling and concealed carry. Chambered in .40 S&W, it uses a double-action and single-action trigger system with a left-side manual safety and decocker. The 3.58-inch barrel and reduced grip circumference improve portability while preserving practical shooting performance. A blued steel slide, polymer grip frame, ambidextrous magazine release, loaded-chamber indicator, and factory night sights complete the configuration. Three magazines are included.

I am an HK fan and I like this pistol. It's a good shooter and is accurate. I'm not a big fan of the extension on the bottom of the magazine. Makes it feel awkward. I've ordered some low profile magazine bases as I did for my full size USPs. Other than that, pretty dandy firearm.

This was my first H&K....
This was my first H&K. The usp 40 compact is a nice looking handgun, the fit and finish are perfect. Fits in my hand well( large hands) , and is well balanced. At the range, I have to admit, I was a little disappointed. Only because I didn't realize that these handgun are zeroed in at 25 meters. As a result, every shot is way low. To be fair, I will give it another chance at greater distances, and give another review. Buds was awesome as usual! Ordered my usp Friday morning, and it arrived at my gun shop on Monday morning!! A full day earlier than expected. Came as advertised, well oiled and ready to go. Love Buds, not shopping anywhere else!!!
