The Heizer Defense Hedy Jane PS1 is a compact double-action derringer chambered for .45 Colt and .410 shotshells. Its stainless steel frame and green barrel provide a durable, distinctive finish, while the 3.25-inch barrel accepts 2.5-inch .410 shotgun shells and includes 0.5 inches of rifling at the muzzle. A fixed front sight, roller-bearing trigger, shell extractor, and ambidextrous ejection latch support straightforward operation. The grip frame also stores two additional .45 Colt cartridges; .410 shotshells must be carried separately because they do not fit in the grip compartment.
