I have had one of...
I have had one of those first model chunky braces from SB tactical when they first came to market. I never really liked it and removed it immediately from whatever pistol it came with. It had been sitting in a parts box for years until I saw this bad boy at SHOT Show 2025. I immediately saw that chunky brace on the back of one of these. As soon as I had the cash I bought one from Buds and had it in hand in a week. I slapped that brace on and it was just as I imagined except for the missing fiber optic sight that was advertised to be on this pistol. I was looking forward to trying the new sight but, well.. no sight. I am in contact with Hi Point to see what happened there, but just be aware that it may not be on it. Other than that, it runs like my other two carbines and looks as good as it can. Minus a star for the missing advertised front sight.
