A: This is not legal in IL as the Bolt is cast from Zamak-3 which is a Zinc Alloy and will fail the IL Melting Point law.

A: I do not think Buds will ship it there based on this: Illinois Chapter 5, paragraph 25.22(h) of the Illinois State Code makes it illegal for any dealer, importer, manufacturer or pawnbroker, to manufacture, sell or deliver to anyone, except another gun dealer licensed by the Federal government, any handgun having a barrel, slide, frame or receiver that has a die casting of zinc alloy or any other non-homogenous metal which will melt or deform at a temperature of 800 degrees Fahrenheit or less. A: No. If you are asking if you can move mag release and slide release to other side. They are both on left side of firearm and cannot be relocated to other side.

A: Hi Point does not have any firearms that have been tested/approved for the CA Roster Keith. Whether this is intentional by Hi Point, their firearms simply can't pass or the cost is too great to Hi Point is unclear. My opinion is that with the price point of their firearms, the cost and difficulty of CA stringent approval is the culprit.
