The HK USP V1 is a full-size, double-action/single-action pistol chambered in .40 S&W. Its fiber-reinforced polymer frame is reinforced with stainless steel inserts in high-stress and high-friction areas, while the blued steel slide provides a durable Blue/Black finish. The frame-mounted control lever combines a manual safety and decocker for accessible operation. HK’s patented recoil reduction system helps reduce stress on pistol components and perceived recoil across ammunition types. This configuration includes factory night sights and three 13-round magazines.

This is the best 40...
This is the best 40 caliber firearm that I have ever shot. It is made of high quality materials and functions perfectly. Fired 200 rounds of 180 Grain FMJ and 13 rounds of Speer Gold Dot hollow points. Functioned perfectly. Magazines are very easy to load to capacity. Night sights are very good. Decocker operates very easily. Accuracy for me was the best I have ever fired ( 7, 10 and 15 yards) as compared to many other well made firearms that I have fired as a former law enforcement officer. A great firearm by H&K.
