Product Overview
The Italian Firearms Group Davide Pedersoli Howdah is a break-open, breech-loading side-by-side pistol chambered in .45 Colt and .410 Bore. Built as a reproduction of the famous Auto and Burglar pistol concept from the 1920s, it pairs a 10.25 in barrel with a traditional front ramp and folding rear leaf sight setup for classic handling and period-inspired appeal.
Key Features
- Break-open side-by-side breech loading design with double-trigger operation
- Dual chambering for .45 Colt and .410 Bore, including .410 3 in shotshell compatibility
- 10.25 in barrels for compact performance and balanced handling
- Ramp front sight with folding rear leaf sight for quick field alignment
- Case hardened action with walnut wood grip and oil finish for a traditional look
If you’re after a classic, Ithaca-style Howdah pistol with both .45 Colt and .410 flexibility, the Davide Pedersoli Howdah from Italian Firearms Group is an excellent fit.

Hi everyone,\r \r The Pedersoli Howdah is an excellent firearm, very fine craftsmanship, and it performs excellently. The only issue I have with it, is that it's a bit to heavy at the muzzle end to shoot single handed, you should use both hands with one hand on the fore-end, and hold it like a rifle. Or, I suppose, you could use a bench rest.
