The Iver Johnson 1911A1 Hawk is a Commander-size .45 ACP semi-automatic pistol with a 4.25-inch barrel and an 8+1 capacity. Its FDE/Tan finish and wood grips give the pistol a distinctive appearance, while the 1911 pattern provides familiar controls and handling. An extended slide stop and thumb safety improve reach, and the beavertail grip safety with memory bump supports a consistent firing grip. Front and rear angled slide serrations, a lowered and flared ejection port, a slightly beveled magwell, and a three-hole trigger with skeletonized hammer complete the practical configuration. Novak Lomount cut rear fixed sights pair with a dovetail front sight for a durable iron-sight setup.
