The Kahr Arms K40 is a compact .40 S&W semi-automatic pistol designed for discreet carry and practical defensive use. Its double-action-only striker-fired system provides a consistent trigger pull, while the passive striker block helps prevent unintended discharge. The pistol features a stainless steel frame, stainless slide, wraparound textured polymer grips, and a 3.5-inch barrel with polygonal rifling. Factory night sights support target acquisition in reduced-light conditions. It includes two six-round stainless steel magazines, and its 6+1 capacity allows one additional cartridge to be carried in the chamber.

Fantastic firearm....
Fantastic firearm. Very accurate and dissapears when concealed. has some recoil but handels it very well. I prefer the K9 over the K40 but if you must have a 40S&W this is a great firearm. This shoots like a full size gun but in a very compact package. the trigger pull is butter smooth out of the box.

This is very fine weapon! I think the extra weight of steel frame is worth it. Very accurate, best stock trigger I've run into. My #1 carry piece, love it!
