The Kel-Tec PLR-16 Defender is a compact semi-automatic pistol chambered for .223 Remington and 5.56 NATO. Its 9.2-inch steel barrel features a 1/2x28 threaded muzzle for compatible muzzle devices and suppressors. The lightweight design combines a polymer frame with an aluminum receiver, while the Strike Industries pistol brace and angled grip support more controlled handling. A Viridian RFX11 red dot sight provides rapid target acquisition, and the fixed front and adjustable rear sights remain available as backup aiming options. An ambidextrous two-position crossbolt safety provides intuitive manual control, and the included 10-round magazine delivers a 10+1 capacity.
