The KelTec P17 is a compact .22 LR semi-automatic pistol designed for economical training, recreational shooting, and convenient carry. Its lightweight polymer construction and textured grip provide comfortable handling, while the excellent trigger and 16+1 capacity support practical range use. A fiber optic front sight and adjustable rear sight help shooters acquire and refine their aim. The 3.8-inch barrel is threaded 1/2x28 and the frame includes a Picatinny-style accessory rail for compatible equipment. An ambidextrous thumb safety and ambidextrous magazine release make the P17 adaptable for right- and left-handed users.
