The Kimber 1911 DS Warrior LS is a long-slide, double-stack 10mm semi-automatic pistol built in America for users who want the handling characteristics of a 1911 with increased ammunition capacity. Its six-inch barrel supports a stable sighting plane and helps maximize the performance of the 10mm cartridge. The optic-ready slide accepts the included C&H Precision RMR mounting plate, allowing compatible red-dot sights to be installed. A GT Performance Trigger, hand-fitted construction, ambidextrous manual safety, grip safety, and lightweight carbon fiber-infused grip complete the platform. The pistol includes one 15-round magazine and one 18-round magazine.

Make no mistake, this...
Make no mistake, this gun is awesome. It's accurate and its large size makes it easy to handle some of the hottest 10mm loads. I do not regret purchasing it. Unfortunately, it takes a back seat to some of my other 10mm handguns. Its use is basically limited to that of a range toy due to its unreliability. Home defense or hunting with this gun would be out of the question because of the higher rates at which I experienced failures to feed and failures to extract throughout roughly 900 rounds of variously powered factory ammunition I put through it. Im sure Kimber will address any issues I've had but who has time for that? This being said I'm still very happy they even made this hand cannon. There isn't much out there on the market quite like it.

Absolutely love it. Hundreds of rounds through it after an initial cleaning and not a single malfunction. All the classic feel of a 1911 but the capacity of modernity. What's not to like?
