Its steel frame and slide are finished in Blue/Black, while the five-inch match grade barrel and stainless steel match grade bushing support consistent shot placement. Meprolight Tritium 3-Dot Night Sights provide a visible sight picture in low-light conditions, and the aluminum match grade trigger is factory set at approximately 4 to 5 pounds. A single-sided thumb safety, beavertail grip safety, full-length guide rod, front slide serrations, and black synthetic double-diamond grips complete this classic Government-size configuration.

I could not be happier...
I could not be happier with this gun. Buds was very fast on shipping as usual, and I have fired about 750 rounds since my purchase. The only problem I had was from a junk mag, which caused failure to feed on last round. Since getting rid of that mag, I have had no problems.

This was my first gun...
This was my first gun purchase with Buds, and I must say, it was absolutely effortless. I had never purchased a gun online before but after talking with some friends, I was told Bud's was the place to go. The gun is brand spanking new, I don't think it even had enough time to sit in the glass case. If you have the opportunity to purchase this 1911 do so, putting night sights will run you about $150 if you take it to a gun smith.
