A 1913 Picatinny rail supports compatible accessories, and fixed Meprolight Tritium 3-dot night sights provide a visible aiming reference in low-light conditions. The pistol also features a match-grade aluminum trigger, front strap checkering, a full-length guide rod, and aggressively textured G-10 grips for a secure hold.

Kimber always makes...
Kimber always makes great 1911s and this one is precision made for tactical use. Built with match grade parts, threaded barrel, tactical light rail, G-10 grips and raised night sights. It's a bit on the heavy side at about 40 ounces, but I believe it helps the gun absorb recoil and feels good in the hand. I found it to be fun out on the range and has far greater accuracy than I'm capable of. I think it's definitely worth what I paid for it and will be around a lot longer than me or even the grandkids.
