The Kimber Independence is a limited-edition full-size 1911 pistol chambered in .45 ACP and produced in a commemorative run of 1,776 units. Its proprietary bushing-mount compensator is designed for toolless takedown, while slide-lightening cuts and a forward top-strap port distinguish this special edition from a standard 1911. The pistol features a flag-themed Cerakote finish across the slide and frame, racing rear slide serrations, Hi Viz two-dot rear and single-dot front sights, and Lok Custom G-10 flag-theme grips. With a single-action trigger, manual thumb safety, and grip safety, it combines classic 1911 controls with a distinctive limited-production design.
