The Kimber Micro CDP is a compact .380 ACP semi-automatic pistol built in Kimber’s Custom Shop for discreet carry. Its 1911-inspired controls provide familiar operation, while rounded and blended edges help reduce snagging during draw. The lightweight aluminum frame keeps the pistol easy to carry, and its stainless steel barrel and slide provide durable construction. Rosewood double-diamond grips, front-strap and mainspring-housing checkering, and a high-cut trigger guard support a secure hold. Fixed Meprolight Tritium 3-dot night sights provide a clear aiming reference in low-light conditions, and the ambidextrous thumb safety accommodates right- and left-handed users.

This gun is everything...
This gun is everything I expected! Went to the range to test it out, it didn't skip a beat. I even had a new shooter shoot it to see if it would still run with no problem, None! For a new gun it felt as if it was already broke in. Kimber did an outstanding job on this one!

Upon receiving new in...
Upon receiving new in the box, field stripped, cleaned, & lubed. Took to the range and went through 300 rounds at a moderate pace. Not one FTE or FTF - performed flawless. This is my 2nd Micro CDP with my first one bought over a couple of years ago. My first one still performs flawlessly to this day as well. This last one I bought (serial number indicating over 30,000 more made since my first one) has a stronger recoil spring that I like, and Kimber made a small design change to the safety (added a small track guide on one side that I really don't think was needed). While I use a Kimber Ultra CDP II .45 acp for my C&C, these .380's are fun to shoot.
