Kimber Micro Two-Tone .380 ACP Pistol

A: The Kimber has an 8lb recoil spring and the Sig P238 has an 12lb recoil spring. The Kimber's slide pull should be the much easier.

A: Hi Daniel, I own both. The Kimbers pull is smoother then both and easier being it has a 8 pound spring while the Sig is 12 pound. I would say its more comparable to the Sig though still.

A: No, the inherent design of the 1911 pistol does not allow this Daniel.

A: Daniel, per the manual ( http://www.kimberamerica.com/media/wysiwyg/manual-download/KIMBER_MicroManual_12-16_FINAL.PDF ), the thumb safety cannot be engaged unless the hammer is fully cocked and the slide is fully forward. So a simple answer to your question is no, it cannot.

A: Ben, $500 for this Kimber .380 is a deal. kimber's limited warranty is as good as anybodys. Don't think you can blow this 14 oz firearm up. Plus looks a lot better then a Sig with Kimber's rosewood grips.

A: I own one. Its a great little pistol. Can't speak of Kimbers warranty/customer service, never had to use it.

A: its a good gun and I think you will be pleased with it as to some of the comments below any gun can be Blown up was it a factory load or a reload that caused the Sig to blow up as no one will warranty a gun when you are using reloads (I reload)

A: Ben, glad that you are ok. Don't know how hot a "hot load" you mean but, hot ammunition give many manufacturers pause on warranty work. I think Sig should have handled this differently though. Kimber is good to go all around in quality and Customer Service.
