Not the first Pro...
Not the first Pro Carry 9mm I have owned, but the first black one. Shot very nice after a quick cleaning and was very accurate, even though I have trouble with the all black sights, night sights are on the way. Fit and finish, excellent. The trigger has a little creep to it but not bad. It is true that Kimbers Custom Shop pistols have better triggers but the Ultra Carry and Pro Carry models are pretty good. Perfect as far as function goes, fires and ejects every time. I actually picked it up on the way out the second day I had it, to go out on the tractor and mow some pasture brush. The tractor scared out a 50 pound hog, I jammed on the brakes and pulled the pistol and hit the running hog at about 25 to 40 yards with 7 out of 10 shots fired. Not a desirable hog gun or caliber, but was pleased with it's performance and accuracy even though the 9mm might not have stopped it with fewer hits. I have 18 Kimbers and think that you cannot go wrong with the purchase of one and have purchased over 70 guns from Bud's and they are not bad either.

I purchased one of...
I purchased one of these guns about 8 months ago and it works extremely well. I changed the grips to checkered wood ( I prefer wood over rubber) and added a magwell. This gun works great to compete in IDPA ESP. I like the sights. They are all black with serrations on them. I would highly recommend getting Wilson Combat 10 round magazines for this gun. I have had no feeding or jamming problems with this combination. It is a great competition and carry gun. I have feed a few different types of ammo through this gun with no problems. I have fired the following: 115FMJ winchester loads, Hornady TAP, 124 winchester +p+ loads, 115 FMJ Blazer and Magtech. The recover time for a second shot with this gun is amazing. I don't think anyone would be disappointed with this gun. If you are looking for a light recoiling 1911 in 9MM this is the gun for you.
