The Kimber Rapide is a full-size 1911-style pistol chambered in .38 Super and finished in Flat Dark Earth. Its 5-inch barrel and semi-automatic action provide the familiar handling and operating characteristics of a traditional Government-size 1911, while the Rapide configuration adds optic-ready capability for compatible red dot sights. A fiber optic sighting system, G10 grips, ambidextrous manual safety, and grip safety support practical range use and confident handling. The pistol feeds from a 9-round magazine and includes one magazine.

The Rapide is a robust 1911 with beautiful cuts and a good trigger. I'll be ordering a optic plate soon,but iron sights are good. 38 super is a smooth round out of a 1911 platform and the Kimber Rapide delivers.
