Description
Product Overview
The Kimber Raptor II 1911 is a full-size .45 ACP pistol built around a stainless-steel frame and slide with a 5-inch match-grade barrel. Its Raptor pattern combines aggressive slide and frame serrations with scaled texturing accents and Zebrawood grips bearing the Kimber logo. Tactical Wedge 3-dot tritium night sights provide a clear sight picture in low-light conditions, while the ambidextrous thumb safety and grip safety add secure handling. A full-length guide rod, match-grade aluminum trigger, and stainless-steel match-grade bushing complete this traditionally styled 1911 configuration.

I've had a few Kimbers...
I've had a few Kimbers over the years, really almost since they started. And although one of my first was a Raptor Pro when it first came out, I always wanted a full size version. Bought a stainless Pro Raptor and loved it and the contrast with my blued Pro. Years and years went by, and for one reason or another, I just never picked up the Stainless full size. Until last week, and as usual, the deal with Buds was extraordinarily smooth and easy. The gun, well as the title says, if you know… Tight fit, lines and markings crisp, ultra flat sides, fit and finish typical for Kimber. In short, top tier 1911 esthetics wise, and I'm sure just like both my Pro's, will deliver flawlessly at the range!

A well designed pistol...
A well designed pistol manufactured by true experts. The balance is perfect, all functions work well, except for the magazine which is extremely difficult to lock in to the well. Tried 6 different Kimber 8 round mags and all were the same. Tried several different M1911 mags and all worked as expected. Pistol fires ,ejects, loads perfectly. Would buy this pistol again.
