Typical Kimber, all...
Typical Kimber, all finish and no fit or function, and of course, over priced, even on sale, for a very pretty paper weight! Could not get through a 7 rnd mag without issue to save a life, failure to go completely into battery mainly (1 Stock Kimber mag, 3 Korean mags.and 2 chip McCormack RPM mags, all stainless, all new.) Barrel to slide fit at the muzzle was eating it alive, even after 250 rnds of standard 230 grn ball ammo. The fancy G10 ball milled grips were sharp enough at the bottom to draw blood. Wake up Kimber, Tisas is making better guns than you with better fit and function for sure and possibly finish and materials as well.

Literally my dream 1911. I have 3 Kimber Ultras. Every one is equal build quality, and function. I have a Kimber Stainless Ultra .45ACP, Kimber Sapphire Ultra 9mm and FINALLY after a 2+ year wait, I got this Kimber Sapphire Ultra .45ACP when Buds told me it was available. This is the one I REALLY wanted when I originally purchased the 9mm version back 2020. The finish is perfect and beautiful. I just "hope" the finish holds up over time and carry as I never carried the 9mm version, but now carry these two .45s in rotation leather only holsters. Shipped fast and special order time had it to my FFL in 6-7 days total. I love shiny blue and chrome like my Harley.
