Kimber needs to do a...
Kimber needs to do a better with quality control. Had to have the gun sent back to the factory twice with thumb safety problems. The first time the side broke the thumb safety off. The second time thumb safety keeps on engaging while shooting. The gun is very accurate but with this gun for personnel carrier and safety issues is not good.Buds did at great job with the order.

I picked up this...
I picked up this Kimber 6-7 weeks ago from my FFL. The transaction through Buds went smoothly-even though I mailed in a check. The gun arrived in good condition, no blemishes. After an initial intensive cleaning and lubrication, and now about 350 rounds, I have not yet had a failure on a mix of PMC and Remington FMJ ammo, in either the supplied Kimber or my Wilson Combat magazines. One grip panel has started working loose. The finish is holding up. Felt recoil with the aluminum frame is noticeably higher than in a full size, steel frame Springfield. The factory trigger weight feels high.

Purchased a Kimber...
Purchased a Kimber Super Carry Pro via a Bud's auction a little over a month ago. Took possession and within days went to my local English Pit range and put 210 rounds through my new (and only) Kimber. Was expecting to have a misfeed (jam) or something else as has been reported in the previous review and other internet reviews. My Kimber shot flawlessly. I was quite impressed with the pistol's performance. I'm not sure why I had zero problems and others experienced issues with their super carry pro. One thing might be the ammo. I did shoot new Remmington UMC 230 grain MC ammo (not sure what MC stands for but looks like FMJ ammo). Again, I had zero issues with my new Kimber shooting new high quality ammo (I know ammo quality is subjective in some cases but UMC has never caused me an issue). I would recommend the Kimber Super Carry Pro based on my first 210 rounds. P.S.: The Kimber is a little difficult to reassemble. Suggest you go on-line and watch one of the disassembly and reassembly videos that are out there in cyberspace.
