love, love, love this handgun! The kimber ultra raptor II has to be one of the nicest looking 1911's out there. So far I have about 500 el cheapo target rounds, and one box of defensive hollow points through this thing and it has run flawless so far. Great little pistol. I...
Great little pistol. I have had a couple of stainless Ultra Raptors in 45 in the past and still have a black Ultra Raptor in 45. As I get older I have started to get some 9mm pistols to enjoy less recoil. Not only is this pistol good to look at it is a very accurate and comfortable thing to shoot. I have only put about two hundred rounds through it but it has been totally reliable so far. I have shot it from 7 to 25 yards with good results. Even at 25 I was on target with decent groups. My eyes arn't what they used to be or I'm sure it would have been better. Of course it is lightweight and well made and makes an excellent carry pistol.The new round butt frame is a nice addition and saves me from having to take it to a gunsmith to have a Wilson one fitted and installed like the others I had. I can't think of anything bad to say about it, not even the Kimber 9mm mag. The pistol was run with several Kimber, Dan Wesson and Wilson mags with no problems. All in all I'm very happy with this Kimber and purchase.
