Wow! This gun is very...
Wow! This gun is very tight and accurate out of the box. Racking the slide back to unlock the barrel from the slide takes considerable effort. I own a dozen or so 1911 style pistols and this is one of my most accurate out of the box. The slim grips make a big difference in handling and comfort as well as control for those with small-medium sized hands like myself. Yes, as expected there have been some minor malfunctions but no FTE or FTF's, with factory ammunition in the 1st 150 rounds fired thus far. I have read that it will take at least 500-1000 rounds just to break it in. I can't wait!

Great pistol! I put well over 2k rounds down range and only one hiccup on round 14 (probably the ammo). This gun is amazing, don't think you'll find anything better than a Baer. Completely reliable! I had another high end 1911 a few years ago from another maker and it was a great shooter, when it shot. Personally I love the no frills=great gun mentality of Les Baers not stuff other pistol smiths want to sell you that does nothing for reliability or accuracy. I.E. recoil buffers, full length guide rods etc. The TRS is the end all be all for me! Okay, well, I may end up getting the SRP also.
