The Live Free Armory BAT is an AR-pattern pistol chambered in 7.62x51 NATO and configured with a heavy 12.5-inch barrel for a compact platform with full-power rifle cartridge capability. Its Flat Dark Earth finish and factory pistol brace provide a distinctive appearance and additional support during shouldered or supported firing positions where permitted by applicable law. The direct-impingement action uses familiar AR controls, while the receiver Picatinny rail allows the user to install a compatible optic. The barrel is threaded 5/8x24 for compatible muzzle devices.
