Let me just start out...
Let me just start out by saying, I've been looking for one of these handguns for years. They're almost impossible to find, and even used they're going to run close to MSRP. There's a reason for that. Even featuring the classic .45 ACP chambering, this gun has very smooth recoil. Comparable to a Glock 19, even; for those more experienced shooters. I've been firing handguns for years, and this piece totally renewed my love for them. It's such an enjoyable and accurate shooter. The sights are very easy to acquire, the ergonomics are quick to reach and intuitive to find; exactly how a handgun should be. The factory grip is smooth on the palm sides, but aggressively textured on the backstrap; this gives you a comfortable yet controlled hold. Personally I very much enjoy it. The frame has a downward angle cut into it towards the bottom, which naturally allows your fingers to fall into a rest position on when displaying a proper grip; again, I found it very natural and comfortable. When firing, it's very similar to shooting .45 cal CZ's (The 97-B specifically, if you've ever been lucky enough to do so.) That's a good place to start imagining. Firing all the way out to 40 meters is no challenge for this beast. If I had to give the handgun one single con, it would be the weight. Mine weighed in at 2.32lbs, so it's not exactly an EDC. (Unless you don't mind carrying a heavy, full sized handgun. Props to you.) However, I feel that the weight helps with recoil control, and just gives it that feeling that only a full sized steel frame can. Another, is the magazine cost. You won't ever be able to find mags in any store due to rarity; so you'll be shelling out at least $45 each online. And that's that. I love the handgun, and Buds made it possible to finally acquire one of my dreams. If they've still got any in stock, I highly recommend grabbing one.

This firearm seems to be out of stock frequently (for obvious reasons). It took several months before the time was right for purchasing but it was well worth the wait! Smooth action. Very accurate right out of the box. After wiping off the excessive amount of factory lubrication (no complaints here) I fired about 100 rounds of Winchester 230 grain FMJ. No FTF's or FTE's. Flawless performance! I am very impressed. Bud's was excellent, as usual. I have purchased several firearms from Bud's over the years and have never been disappointed with their service. I held off on buying...
I held off on buying this for a long time because of local availability. I gave myself this present and am happy with it. The recoil is very manageable since it is a full size pistol. Only complaint is the seeming delay when cycling rounds from the magazine. No misfeeds after a few hundred so far. MagnumResearch will void your warranty if you use +P rounds but that's ok. Regular gets the job done.
