The Magnum Research Baby Eagle III Semi-Compact Polymer is a hammer-fired .40 S&W pistol designed for defensive carry and practical range use. Its lightweight polymer frame helps reduce carry weight, while the carbon steel slide receives a black oxide finish for a durable service-style configuration. The pistol uses a 3.85-inch barrel and a semi-compact profile measuring 5.75 inches in height. Fixed combat-style white three-dot sights provide a clear, consistent aiming reference, and the slide-mounted ambidextrous safety and decocker support operation from either side. I ordered this gun on...
I ordered this gun on a Friday and had it in my hands on Wednesday. Budsgunshop.com is always a pleasure to deal with. Everything looked good when I picked up the pistol. When I got home I started loading the first magazine and could only get 8 rounds in, the last 2 were tight. When I tried to put the mag in the gun it only went in half way. I called Magnum Research and they told me to send it back. I had to pay for shipping myself as is their policy. I did get the gun back in a week but all they did was grind down the mag well. I'm not sure if these are the same mags but I am able to get 12 rounds in now, but the mags are still tight fitting. Shipping cost me 103 dollars, I think they should have paid for shipping since they obviously did have to do work on this gun. I will not buy anything from Magnum Research again.
