357 Mag - I love this...
357 Mag - I love this side arm. It is well balanced and movement is smooth, although it is a bit heavy. However, the added weight doesn't hender me and weight tends to stabilize the fire arm in my hand. The built-in muzzel break significantly reduces the kick-up allowing the shooter to regain the target quicker. One thing to note for future buyers, save yourself some headaches by only firing the manufactures recommneded ammunition if you want to avoide constant jamming of the chamber. If anyone is looking for an excellent shooting show piece, Desert Eagle will certantly fit the bill...

This has been a nice...
This has been a nice firearm. Trigger pull is nice. There are a couple things that you need to know about this gun. You must use the factory recommended 158 grain bullets are higher. It WILL NOT load the next round out of the magazine if you use anything less (125 gr). The gun shoots really high. I had to get a different front sight to bring the group down onto the target at 15 yards. The gun is easy to disassemble for cleaning. Cleaning is a different story. The metals stain easily. It took more than just running a nylon brush over the parts to get them clean. I found I actually ended up using copper wire dremel tool to get the parts clean. If you're not real fastidious, that may not be an issue for you. The only other thing is that this gun is very heavy.

Was really looking...
Was really looking foreword to shooting this and still do. I like my 357 colt revolver but now that age is creeping up with me, I needed a little less recoil with the ability to shoot 357 rounds. After shooting the 44 mag Desert Eagle, I realized that the 357 would work for me. Research done and decision made I purchased mine and proceeded to test various brands of the recommended ammo. Gun is very specific to the manufacturers recommendations as stated. Had gun repaired 2X because of weak springs and defected ejector. Easy to work with manufacturer. I have found some other ammo that works well and a little cheaper but you must use 2 hands. With that said, no limp wrists, firm grip the gun is very accurate. Recoil is not as bad as you think and is like a 9MM or 45. It is a 5 lb gun and the trigger pull is solid. I use a viridan green laser and it is a dream to shoot up to about 75 rounds @ 1400 + FPS Velocity. I have dealt with Bud's guns to purchase a couple of firearms and have found them to work with my FFL dealer with no problems. Al Vero Beach, Florida.
