The Metro Arms American Classic II Government is a full-size 1911-style semi-automatic pistol chambered in .45 ACP. Its 5-inch barrel, 4140 steel frame, and hammer-forged 4140 steel slide provide the traditional Government configuration. Dovetail front and Novak-style rear sights support a familiar sight picture, while front and rear slide serrations aid manipulation. Checkered wood grips with diamond-cut detailing add a classic appearance and a secure hand interface. The pistol features a manual thumb safety and a 1911-style grip safety, along with an 8+1 capacity magazine fitted with a bumper pad.
