The Orthos Arms Babushka AK Pistol combines a compact 7.62x39mm format with the robust operating system of an AK-pattern firearm. It features a stamped steel receiver, hammer-forged front trunnion, bolt, and carrier, plus a cold hammer forged, chrome-lined barrel with a gas-nitride finish. The 10.5-inch barrel uses a 1:9.5 twist rate and is threaded M24x1.5 RH for the included flash hider and brake combination. An ACX adjustable aluminum brace, aluminum pistol grip, aluminum hand stop, 1913 Picatinny adapter, and optics mount provide a practical, configurable setup. Fixed sights are built into the 90-degree combination sight and gas block, while the Alpine Cerakote finish gives the pistol a distinctive appearance. Two magazines are included: a 30-round US Palm magazine and a 10-round PMAG fitted with a +5 aluminum extension.
