Its design uses numerous 5.56-sized components, including the charging handle, bolt carrier, cam pin, buffer, handguard, and heat-sink barrel nut, helping produce a 7.3-pound package with handling characteristics closer to a 5.56 platform. A 5-position adjustable gas piston system, fully ambidextrous billet receivers, and a single-stage match-grade trigger provide adaptable operation and precise control. The NP3 finish adds corrosion resistance, while the Edge Handguard offers four integrated QD attachment points and ample space for accessories. A threaded 12.5-inch barrel and triple-port muzzle brake complete the configuration.
