I bought the double...
I bought the double stack 9mm because I thought it would be a good idea to support Remington who has had a hard time of late. I have always been a fan of the brand and always want to support an American company. I was wrong, terribly. I have not been able to go to the range yet to shoot and yet the pistol is already falling apart. The ambidextrous safety has been stiff and imprecise in movement when handling the weapon, well it went another step further this evening by first not working at all then falling out. Yes it just fell on the ground in pieces. It is a personal first for me and a last as well. It's the last time I purchase any product from the company. You got me good Remington. It won't happen again.

Took it to the range...
Took it to the range for the first time. 115gr Federal ball ammo, a full box, shot flawlessly. 7 yard targets - Tight groups. Very low recoil. My wife shot it and commented "what little kick it has." She loved it too. I thought the grip was going to be a little big, but it was quite comfortable. So did she. I am very pleased with Bud's and the gun. Bud's had it here in no time. To me it is a little too heavy, particularly with a full clip, to be a carry gun, but it makes a great bed side table gun.
