Excellent quality 1911...
Excellent quality 1911 at a bargain price. The fit & finish compete with high-end 1911s like Ed Brown at 1/2 the price. Light & crisp trigger, probably 3.5-4.0 lbs, but my gunsmith discovered (when installing a Smith & Alexander Magwell) that the sear spring (3 prongs) was soft & needed to be replaced. He suspects that the sear spring in my gun hadn't been hardened properly, so he installed a $9 Ed Brown sear spring. This 1911 is extremely well balanced, smooth & accurate. I also bought the Roberts Recon Commander 4.25", but that will be reviewed separately. I hope that Roberts Defense introduces many more models of 1911s, I'll buy one of each of their offerings!!! A++++++++
