A: Marian, yes, a high percentage of standard 1911 parts will drop right in. Due to variances in tolerances, minor fitting for function will always be a factor to consider. Local FFL's are a great source for gunsmiths if you find yourself needing any precise parts fitment needs.

A: If you want to use a gunsmith, Truglo TFO. They are bright, work well in daylight and have a snag resistant design. They require a Novak style cut. A lesser but acceptable option could be replace the front sight only with a Kensight Tritium front sight.
