A: it comes with 1 16 round magazine To keep our firearms affordable, one magazine is included with each firearm purchase. Additional magazines for your firearm(s) can be purchased at Advanced Tactical or other after market magazine manufacturers. On a side note I sent mind back to RIA and had a 40S&W barrel fitted to be able to shoot both (10mm and 40) with a barrel and spring change

A: Sergio, yes, the grips are removable. You would just need to remove the magwell base plate.

A: Sergio, the grips should be easily removed with an appropriately sized hex bit. The flared mag well may need to be removed first in order to take them off. Other aftermarket grips designed for a standard 1911 should also fit this gun unless special grips were used to fit a flared mag well which I doubt.

A: Tommy, yes and yes. I have this model and the 6" "Big Rock" and they will work with the magwell removed.

A: It looks like the pin that holds it in place also holds the mainspring housing so you'd need a short pin for the housing. Then the grips have been cut down also so there'd be a gap at the bottom. Better to just leave it alone.

A: Tommy - yes the mag well can be removed. If you're experienced with 1911s you could probably do it yourself. If not, then be prepared to have a gunsmith do it. And the gun will function perfectly fine without the magwell. You'll need new grips, though, to make it look right, once you remove the mag well.

A: Robert, These are relatively easy to get. Buds gets them in regularly and I buy mine mostly directly from Rock Island/ Armscor : https://armscor.com/parts-accessories/magazines/

A: You can get them from different manufacturers. Armscor is the cheapest. MBX the most expensive.

A: Tom, not at the current prices Sir. I bought mine for $497 and the RIA 6 Inch Big Rock for $795 a couple of years ago. The price has risen for both. They are very nice pistols and if money were no object, I would consider buying again in High Capacity Models only. The single stack Pro Models, are priced way too high nowadays considering what you actually get.
